This afternoon the honorable minister of Transport Works and Infrastructure, Bai Lamin Jobe, led a three man delegation to his counterpart, minister of Infrastructure Transport and Decentralization of Senegal to further discuss the implementation challenges of Inter State Road Transport between the The Gambia and Senegal.The outcome of the meeting is very successful. We might have differences in our preferred approach to resolving the problem, but our common objective to ensure that the interest of our country is well protected, remains unquestionable. God willing, slowly, but surely ISTP will be fully operationalized very soon.
