CIVIL WORK

112 box culverts on the main road and 5 box culverts on access roads

  • 68 single-cell box culverts 1.00m x 1.00m
  • 33 two-cells box culverts 2x 1.00m x 1.00m
  • 3 two-cells box culverts 2x 1.50m x 1.50m
  • 7 three-cells box culverts 3x 1.50m x 1.50m
  • 2 four-cells box culverts 4x 1.50m x 1.50m
  • 4 single-cells box culverts 0.80m x 0.80m have been constructed on access roads respectively t KM 14+794, KM 33+ 340 KM 86+853 and KM 108+725; 1 two-cell box culvert 2x 1x1 constructed on the access road to Darsilameh (KM 68+740 LHS)

Construction of sidewalks at KM 0, KM 88 and KM 95 RHS

Construction (insitu casting) of the pedestrian slabs on the side drains

Construction of steps to ease access to house located near high embankment

 

ROAD FURNITURE

5,208 lm Guardians installed from KM 0 to KM 120

600 units of markers installed from KM 0 to KM 120+560

919 units of highway signs (regulatory and Information) placed from KM 0 to KM 120

14, 690 units of pavement makers (Cat Eyes) fixed from KM 0 to KM 120+560

22 speed bumps installed at vicinity of villages and schools from KM 0 to KM 120

22,682 lm of precast mountable kebs placed at the edge of the carriageway across some major villages and around BUS STOPs from KM 0 to KM 120

GEOTECHNICAL ACTIVITIES

The quality control on materials/works process and monitoring of the processing of the pavement layers and concrete works were the key activities of the site laboratory.

SURVEY WORKS

The survey works consisted on the setting out of the centerline and offsets (right-of-way) of the project road, the monitoring and inspection of finished levels for both road and civil works, monitoring of paved width, levels and regularity.
